Emely Guevara '24, International Business Major Concentrated in Finance and Aida Andino-Guzman, ’26, Psychology and Spanish Dual Major received the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship. The Gilman Scholarship is part of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and is supported by the Institute of International Education (IIE). Josephine Hunter '24, Occupational Therapy Major, received the Jo Anne J. Trow Undergraduate Scholarship from the Alpha Lambda Delta (ALD) National Honor Society. Created in honor of former ALD President, Jo Ann J. Trow, the scholarship intends to reward an outstanding member of Alpha Lambda Delta. The ALD annually awards 50 Trow Undergraduate scholarships to students each year. | .

Hossein Varamini, Turnbull-Jamieson Chair and Professor of Finance and International Business, earned a Fulbright Specialist Award for the spring of 2024. One of the main goals of the Fulbright Program is to develop international understanding by establishing long-term cooperative relationships between international higher education institutions. Varamini plans to work collaboratively with faculty and administrators at Ecole Supérieure du Commerce et des Affaires (ESCA) University in Casablanca, Morocco to create and strengthen a mutually beneficial relationship between ÅÝܽÊÓƵ and ESCA.
